A Plethora of Elephants

We have been on the grounds for 4 days now and truly enjoying ourselves.  Here are the promised elephant photos, from our walk about and just around the park.  They have over 75 elephants, 400 dogs and 200 cats.  I promise not to show you THAT many photos...lol

This young lady has a broken elbow and the other foot is infected...she loves the water for the buoyancy

The elephants here are all rescued from abuse, mistreatment and illegal logging - no riding allowed...

these 2 young bulls are isolated from other elephants and people, and will go back to the jungle in 6 months

The tourists get to "bathe" elephants - looks like fun, but not for volunteers as they are trying to phase it out because elephants can bathe themselves... a bit disappointing...I may sneak in and be a "tourist" tomorrow! lol!
